The School of Construction offers three undergraduate programs with direct application to industry: Architectural Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, and Industrial Engineering Technology. All programs are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (TAC-ABET). Also available are emphasis areas in Residential Construction, Civil, and Logistics.

The Construction Engineering Technology program is also accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) making it the only dually accredited construction management program in the country. The Construction Engineering Technology program is also SOCNAV (Serviceman Opportunity College for the Navy) approved.

The school offers a Master of Science in Engineering Technology with emphasis areas in Construction Management and Technology (CMT), Architecture and Construction Visualization (ACV), and Logistics Management and Technology (LMT).

Mission of Department

The School of Construction strives to provide effective technology, engineering and management education for its graduates to serve needs in the construction, architectural and industrial sectors.  To achieve its mission, the School of Construction strives to create a learning environment to nurture the development of critical thinking skills; develop knowledge and technology expertise; and support innovation and technology transfer.
